Federal Bank expands presence with New Delhi branch
Federal Bank has inaugurated its 1,600th banking outlet with the opening of a new branch in Mansarovar Garden, New Delhi, marking a further expansion of its physical footprint in North India. The branch is the bank’s 141st outlet in its New Delhi Zone, underlining the region’s growing importance to its retail and SME strategy. The expansion comes amid rising demand in the Delhi-NCR region for SME credit, digital-first banking services, relationship-led retail offerings, and non-resident Indian (NRI) services. According to the bank, the region has emerged as a meaningful contributor to its retail and small business franchise, supported by increasing adoption of its digital platforms alongside branch-based engagement.
